Well, the cat’s out of the bag… we’ve been keeping a little secret (okay, a BIG secret): we’ve been quietly building and testing an all new all-in-one weather station, and it’s time to share it with you! Imagine if you could restore your device to factory specifications as easily as changing a lightbulb. No more sending it back to the manufacturer, no more costly downtime. Just switch out the sensor module with a simple twist of the wrist, and you’re good to go with fully calibrated sensors. Well now you can.
The brand NEW ResponseONE™-PRO Weather Transmitter is a compact instrument that measures the same four key meteorological variables as traditional all-in-one stations (wind speed and direction, atmospheric pressure, relative humidity, and temperature), but with a twist. This new design features an access port so you can easily remove and replace the protective filter and internal sensor module. That allows you to quickly service or replace the internal sensors or plug in a pre-calibrated sensor module, restoring the performance back to factory standards without the need to return to the manufacturer.
The new ResponseONE™-PRO features durable, corrosion-resistant construction and is designed for simple installation and wiring. The optional integrated compass enables mobile applications, and terminals are included for easy connection of the optional tipping bucket rain gauge. In addition, a variety of useful serial output formats are provided. Output may be continuous or polled to conserve power. RS-232 or RS-485 serial format options enable direct integration with YOUNG displays, marine NMEA systems, data loggers, or other compatible serial devices. An easy-to-use Windows setup program is provided with each sensor, so you can customize device settings to meet your needs.
The ResponseONE™-PRO was specifically engineered to meet the demands for marine data buoy applications, enabling sensor replacement without the need to return the entire instrument to the manufacturer for repairs or calibration. For the past three years, it has been deployed in harsh marine environments on ocean buoys, consistently providing accurate and reliable data, and we are excited to start offering it to the public in the near future.
We will be revealing the ResponseONE™-PRO for the very first time at the Meteorological Technology World Expo later this month. Come see it for yourself in booth 4044.
ResponseONE™-PRO will be available for purchase soon. Learn more.
