The YOUNG Model 61002 Gill Pressure Port provides an effective static pressure inlet for a barometric pressure sensor. Errors as high as 3 hPa can be caused by winds of 20 meters per second blowing over a typical barometer inlet tube. The unique parallel plate design effectively lowers the air velocity at the pressure inlet thereby minimizing these errors. Made with durable, corrosion resistant materials the Pressure Port creates a barrier to water and snow intrusion for long service at a minimal cost.
